Black Jaguar - Wild Forest Sea Salt - 77%
Based on Vancouver Island, this is one of a number of bars that Black Jaguar has made using foraged ingredients. This bar uses sea salt, sitka spruce tips, stinging nettle, western white pine, and juniper berries — all harvested in BC.
Ocelot - Black Cherry - 70%
Cherry flavored dark chocolate? This is such an obvious classic that you’d think it would be more common. This bar is made in the UK in collaboration with Dutch bean-to-bar chocolatemaker Original Beans.
Sirene - Shortbread Cookie - 65%
Another bar made in BC, this dark milk chocolate bar incorporates shortbread cookies from Origin Gluten Free Bakery. Somehow this bar is totally smooth, not crunchy; it’s just chocolate that also tastes like shortbread — and it’s very good.
Marou uses only Vietnamese cacao, and this bar is their strictly Vietnamese response to requests for milk chocolate. No shredded desiccated coconut in sight, just an homage to the richness and smoothness of coconut cream.
