Wendy Shirran works in both Bonavista and St. John's, Newfoundland
My work is created in my home studio using a combination of wheel-throwing, hand-building, and cutting and altering techniques. Pieces are made from cone 6 porcelain and finished with a layered surface of under-glaze, silk screen transfers, hand-painted images, stencilling, mishima, and printed decals.
