A tangy, jammy chocolate made with Haskap berries (also called honeyberry or honeysuckle) The colour of the chocolate is an inky purple, all natural, from a ridiculous amount of berries.
Haskap berries are shaped like little fingers. The flavour is a mashup of blueberry, raspberry, with a splash of blackcurrant— a perfect little berry.
Originating with the Ainu people in Hokkaido, Japan. Haskaps were brought to Canada in the 50s. Haskaps thrive in the cool forests of Canada.
Organic haskaps: Prairie Hill Farms, Alberta.
A lot of customers don't believe us when we say this is white chocolate (even some who have tried it). It's really just that dark from all of the berries.
