Each pair showcases sand from a different beaches in Newfoundland — The blue plate has Alexis' signature crystalline glaze across the centre with clear glaze on the edge to show off the beach sand. The other plate is glazed completely clear to fully showcase the beach sand.
Beaches include, Northern Bay Sands, Gooseberry Cove, Burgeo, Port au Port, and Trepassey.
