This bowl has beach sand — from the Sandy Point Beach, Lawn, Newfoundland — swirled into the porcelain clay. It has been glazed with a white crystalline glaze on the rim, which is layered over a clear glaze in the center which shows the sand.

Approximately 13 centimetres from rim to rim and about 4 centimetres tall.
