This dinner plate has beach sand — from Sandy Cove Beach, Tilting, Fogo Island, Newfoundland — swirled into the porcelain clay. It has been glazed on the rim with a clear glaze to showcase the sand. The inside is glazed with a beautiful blue crystalline.
