This bowl has beach sand — from the Salmon Cove Sands, Newfoundland — swirled into the porcelain clay. It has been glazed on the inside with a clear glaze to showcase the sand. The rim is glazed with a beautiful blue crystalline.

In addition, this bowl has a blue underglaze beneath the crystalline glaze, giving it an exceptionally deep hue.

Approximately 16.5 centimetres from rim to rim and about 5.5 centimetres tall.
