This mug has had beach sand swirled through the clay as the piece was thrown on the wheel. 

Alexis' signature crystalline glaze is running on the rim of this mug. The inside and outside walls are covered in clear glaze to emphasize the beach sand.

The texture of the sand can be felt through the glaze.
