This bowl has beach sand — from the Sandy Point Beach, Lawn, Newfoundland — swirled into the porcelain clay. It has been glazed with a white crystalline glaze on the centre, paired with a clear glaze over the edges and sides to show the sand.

Approximately 21 centimetres from rim to rim and about 6.5 centimetres tall.
