This bowl has beach sand — from the Sandy Point Beach, Lawn, Newfoundland — swirled into the porcelain clay. It has been glazed on the inside with a clear glaze to showcase the sand. The rim is glazed with a beautiful white crystalline.
Approximately 22 centimetres from rim to rim and about 6.5 centimetres tall.
