Aneela Dias-D’Sousa lives and works in Pickering, Ontario. 

My functional work is designed to be experiential creating meaningful moments in fast paced daily routines. An unglazed portion of the object provides tactility and textural contrast to the glossy, aqua glaze and a hint of patterned detail for visual pleasure.

While these mugs are great to hold any favourite beverage, the 12 oz mugs serve a specific purpose for the tea drinker - to hold those sliding tea bag strings in place!
