This wall plate features a landscape with Lesley's signature red dot. It has a hook on the back to be mounted on a wall.
I add ceramic pigments to porcelain slip and layers of colour are applied and reworked to build up a beautifully tactile and visually stimulating surface. Once bisque fired more layers of underglaze colours are added and sanded back thus building up an even richer depth of surface texture.
Size: approximately 27 by 23 centimetres
Please note that the textured and unglazed surface of this plate is not suitable for food.
