This cup features a a landscape with deer and tree decals, as well as Lesley's signature red dot.

Feeling the need for comfort I designed these cups for both hands to wrap around. They have large indentations for your fingers to find, making them incredibly comfortable to hold. They are ideal for large drinks and ice.

I add ceramic pigments to porcelain slip and layers of colour are applied and reworked to build up a beautifully tactile and visually stimulating surface. Once bisque fired more layers of underglaze colours are added and sanded back thus building up an even richer depth of surface texture. It is then fired to a Stoneware temperature with a glossy glaze which enhances the colours. Sometimes decals have then been applied and the item is fired for a third time.
