This dark mug uses an “oil spot” glaze — which when fired quickly to a high heat, causes iron components to burst to the surface and leave glistening or sparkling highlights. This is layered over a turquoise underglaze at the "foot"  of the mug.

Capacity: around 450 millilitres, or 15-16 ounces.
