This medium bowl has beach sand — from the Tilting, Fogo Island, Newfoundland — pressed into the porcelain clay. It has been glazed inside with a clear glaze to showcase the sand.  

Approximately 17 centimetres from rim to rim and 4-5 centimetres deep.
